TWA’s TOUGHEST CAMP EVER!  is an intensive training camp for students who are not only serious about taking their skills to the next level, but who are also looking to gain an edge physically and mentally for Fargo and/or Preseason tournaments, or maybe you just need to find that next level before next season.

This camp is intense by nature but dynamic in design. The camp offers technique, intense drilling, strength and conditioning, as well as mental training and match management strategies. The camp will test you physically and mentally, providing an in-depth look at preparation, position, and execution of technique. Please come to camp prepared to test yourself and push your boundaries; you will break down barriers that have held you back in the past!

TWA’s TOUGHEST CAMP EVER! is open to all wrestlers ages 12 through 18 and will run Tuesday through Friday at Thoroughbred Wrestling Academy:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

– Meals will be provided, as noted below in the schedule.

– Please bring any additional snacks or drinks you may need.

– Students will have the option of sleeping on the mats or placing an air mattress/cot in our turf room and showers will be available for use following each session.

– Please bring enough sets of workout close to last the entire camp. We will try to fit in a time for laundry as needed.

– You will also need: water bottle, running shoes, wrestling shoes, headgear, a folder and a notebook for mental training and lifting documents.

– Singlets are preferred for drill/live sessions.

Day 1 (SUN)

–  8-9am Check-In

–  9am technique session

–  10am lift/strength training

–  12:00am lunch (provided)

–  1:30pm drill practice

–  3pm showers available

–  4pm movie/5pm dinner (provided)

–  6-8pm hard drill/live session

–  8:30pm showers available

–  10:30pm lights out

 

Day 2 (MON)

–  6am run

–  7:30am breakfast (provided)

–  8-9am down-time

–  9am technique session

–  10am mental training session

–  11:30am lunch (provided)

–  1:30pm drill practice

–  3pm showers available

–  4:00-4:30pm dinner (Pizza)

–  6:30-8:00pm hard practice: drill and live

–  8:00pm Showers Available

–  9:30pm mental training session

–  10:30pm lights out

 

Day 3 (TUES)

–  6:30am run (bring some sort of protein bar or snack for before morning runs)

–  7:30am breakfast (provided)

–  8-9am down-time

–  9am technique session

–  10am lift/strength training

–  11:30am lunch (provided)

–  1:30pm drill practice

–  3pm showers available

–  4pm movie/5pm dinner (provided)

Day 4 (WED)

–  6am run

–  7:30am breakfast (provided)

–  9:15am mental training session

–  10:00-11:00am technique session

–  1:00pm TOUGHEST PRACTICE EVER! (parents welcome to watch)

–  2:30-3:00pm parent pick up, end of camp (showers will be available)
